Magnus Clarke, OAA Intern
After receiving his Bachelors of Architecture from Carleton University in Ottawa, Magnus spent the next decade as head of the design studio at Design Vision, prior to launching his own partnership with Ian in 2003. His retail work has won several design awards, receiving accolades for crafting distinct brand identities and unique experiences for shoppers.
In addition to his design skills, Magnus is Paradigm’s expert on site planning and development feasibility studies, offered to developers of residential, commercial and industrial infill and greenfield sites across Ontario.Email Magnus

Ian Hallett, MAATO
Ian holds a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Sheridan College in Oakville and is a member of the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario.
He has successfully managed design studios and project teams for over 25 years, focusing on the production of technical drawings for projects ranging from small retail stores to multi-storey residential buildings.
Ian was a very early adopter of BIM technology and is Paradigm’s expert on Revit, the sophisticated modelling software we utilize and rely upon to generate our drawings.Email Ian

Jim Sa'd, OAA
A licensed Architect for over 20 years, Jim obtained a Masters of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI after graduating with a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Science from Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson Polytechnic University).
He gained extensive experience designing a variety of building typologies during his employment at various small to mid-sized firms, in addition to running practices in Canada and the US. Jim’s demonstrable design skills are further enhanced by his expertise with the Ontario Building Code.Email Jim

Rob McFadden, MAATO
Rob holds a Diploma in Architectural Technology from Mohawk College in Hamilton and is a member of the Association of Architectural Technologists of Ontario.
As an Associate, he is responsible for primarily leading a diverse range of projects, including multi-storey residential, industrial and commercial buildings.
Rob’s thorough understanding of building codes and building technology makes him an invaluable member of Paradigm. -
Scandra Soriano, MAATO
After receiving her diploma as an Architectural Technician from George Brown College, Scandra went on to earn a diploma in advanced Architectural Technology from Centennial College in Toronto.
As an Associate, she has become a trusted resource for her essential skills in leading the production and contract administration of several projects simultaneously.
Scandra’s sense of humour and general consideration for the office culture compliments her contributions as an integral part of Paradigm’s team. -
Miguel Magana, OAA Intern
Miguel obtained his Master of Architecture from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles following a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
As an Intern Architect, his in-depth knowledge of the Building Code and Zoning By-laws allows him to contribute to the successful design of several residential and commercial projects.
Miguel is recognized for his diligence in managing the progress of projects, from initial municipal application phases through to completion. -
Heather Kosa Clarke, Office Manager
As Office Manager at Paradigm Architecture + Design, Heather oversees all aspects of Human Resources, Accounting and Office Administration for our team of architects and designers.
She has 15+ years of cumulative experience in operational management and accounting across various industries and leverages her versatility and organizational skills to support all administrative functions.
Heather is passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment for colleagues and clients, and constantly seeks to improve her skills and knowledge in her field.
